Q.1-Why do you think Patrick hated doing his homework ?

Answer -Patrick hated doing his homework because it was too boring. 

Q.2 – What did  Patrick think his cat was playing  with ? What was it actually ?

Answer  –  Patrick thought his cat was playing with a doll. It was not a doll, but an elf, a man of the tiniest size. 

 Q.3 -The elf had made Patrick work hard . Do you agree ? Give reasons for your answer.

Answer – Yes, the elf had made Patrick work hard. Patrick helped him by consulting a dictionary, guiding him in doing sums and reading out portions from history book. He stayed up at nights and worked hard .

Q.4- In what ways did Patrick change with the coming of the elf ?

Answer – Patrick changed a lot with the coming of the elf as he scored an ‘A’ in all the subjects, cleaned his room, did his chores, was always cheerful and stopped being rude.
