Q1. What do you mean by diversity?

Ans – The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique and recognizing our individual differences.

Q2. What are the causes of individual differences ?

Ans – The difference between individual may be interpreted by the fact of race , gender , social – economic status , age , physical abilities , religious beliefs , political beliefs or other ideologies.

Q3. What do you mean by inequality ?

Ans – Inequality occurs when people living in the same society do not have access to the same opportunity and resources  , that are available to other person.

Q4. What do you mean by migration?

Ans – Human migration is the movement of people from one place to another with the intentions of settling permanently or temporarily at a new location.

Q5. How does inequality occurs?

Ans – Inequality occurs when people living in the same society do not have access to the same opportunity and resources , that are available to other person.

Q6. What are the reasons for migration ?

Ans – Some of the causes of migration are as follows :-

1. In search of better opportunities.

2. have access to sources

3. in search of new lands and places

4. sometimes because of war

5. to save from natural disasters

Q7. Give an example of diversity in India.

Ans – The people of India having different parts of the country speaks different languages.

Q8. ‘ India is a country of many diversities ‘. Explain with examples..

Ans – One of the special features of India is that if is the country of many diversities . For example :-

1. We speak different languages like Hindi , Punjabi , Gujarati etc.

2. We eat different kinds of food like roti . sabji . chawal etc.

3. We celebrate different festivals like Holi , Diwali , Eid etc.

4. We wear different types of clothes.

5. We practise different religions like – Hinduism , Islam etc.
